Thompson’s Shack is located 75 minutes south of Hobart, on the Huon River. Just meters from the pristine white sandy shores of Surveyors Bay, this waterfront north facing shack has direct access to the beach. Recently refreshed throughout, the shack is a collection of old and new gathered to make a comfortable cosy getaway in a truly beautiful location. Well equipped for relaxation or adventure, with kayaks, firepots, and plenty of comfortable spots to enjoy the view, we’d love to have you stay. The shack was originally built as a farm shed. It has been recently refreshed throughout, but retains much of its character. The kitchen is well equipped, the lounge room is warm and cosy, and there are plenty of spaces to enjoy this stunning location.
